Duxford Dash - IWM Duxford, 25 October 2026
Duxford Dash is a running event held at IWM Duxford in Cambridgeshire on 25 October 2026. Races take place on the airfield runway, which is closed to air traffic for the event. The event is organised by Imperial War Museums and takes place at the museum site in Duxford, CB22 4QR.
Race formats available:
- 5k Dash - one lap of the runway.
- 10k Dash - two laps of the runway.
- 1 Mile Family Dash - a short family run.
The 5k and the One Mile Family Dash are listed as sold out. Places for the 10k remain available and are filling quickly. Each race is open to all abilities. Group booking discounts are available for the 5k and 10k. Children under five are free for the One Mile Family Dash. Spectator tickets can only be purchased alongside a race entry. All ticket prices include admission to IWM Duxford after the run and include a £1.20 administration fee.
The event notes access for wheelchair athletes and allows participants to race with a buggy in the 5k or 10k. Event merchandise and finisher items include a medal, a T shirt, and a sew on patch for One Mile finishers. Photographs in front of a Spitfire are offered for finishers.
