Duderstädter Sparkassenlauf 2026
The 24th Duderstädter Sparkassenlauf will take place on Friday, August 28, 2026, in the pedestrian zone of Duderstadt, with the finish line in front of the town hall. The event opens at 4:00 PM, with earlier start times for the races. Children's and youth races will receive finisher medals. Participants in the 5 km and 10 km runs will receive scarves, and winners will get cake. Special thanks to the city of Duderstadt, its building department, sponsors, and helpers for their support.
Event Schedule:
- 4:00 PM: Opening by Mayor Thorsten Feike and the Board of Sparkasse Duderstadt.
- 4:15 PM: 600 m Bambinilauf 1 (born 2019 and younger). Start fee: €5.00. Limit: 250 participants.
- 4:30 PM: 600 m Bambinilauf 2 (born 2019 and younger). Start fee: €5.00. Limit: 250 participants.
- 4:45 PM: 1.25 km Schülerlauf U10 (born 2017/2018). Start fee: €6.00. Limit: 400 participants.
- 5:00 PM: 1.25 km Schülerlauf U12 (born 2015/2016). Start fee: €6.00. Limit: 400 participants.
- 5:15 PM: 1.25 km Schülerlauf U14/16 (born 2013/2014 & 2011/2012). Start fee: €6.00. Limit: 300 participants.
- From 6:00 PM: Award ceremony for school runs.
- 6:30 PM: 5 km Lauf (m/w). 3 laps, measured by DLV. For participants born 2016 and older. Start fee: €13.00. Cut-off time: 0:45 hrs.
- From 7:15 PM: Award ceremony for 5 km run (overall winners and age group winners).
- 7:30 PM: 10 km Lauf (m/w). 6 laps, measured by DLV. For participants born 2012 and older. Start fee: €13.00. Cut-off time: 1:15 hrs.
- From 8:30 PM: Award ceremony for 10 km run (overall winners and age group winners).
- 8:45 PM: 10 km Staffellauf (company and team competition). 6 laps, 6 runners, at least one female runner. All ages. Start fee: €60.00. Limit: 80 participants.
- Afterwards: Award ceremony for Staffellauf.
