Dorie's House 5K Colour Run
Presented by Anchor Dental Group, the 10th annual Dorie's House 5K Colour Run takes place at Kinetic Exhibition Park and uses the Chinook Pathways in Swift Current, SK. The route starts and finishes at Kinetic Park / Saloon. The event is untimed and open to all ages and modes of participation: runners, walkers, blades, strollers, wheelchairs and pets are permitted.
Event day includes check-in, a colour splash before the run, the 5K course along the Chinook Pathways, and post-event prize draws including a 50/50 draw. Every registered participant is entered into the prize draw; participants receive one additional entry for each CA$100 raised through donations, up to a maximum of three extra entries. Fundraising supports Southwest Youth Emergency Shelter Inc.
Registration features early bird and regular pricing. The listed fees are approximately CA$29.15 for early bird and CA$34.54 for regular entries, and limited spots remain. Sponsors include Anchor Dental Group and several local organizations. Volunteer opportunities are available, and basic guidance is provided on suitable clothing for a colour powder run such as wearing a white t-shirt and shoes that can get coloured.
