Dirty Day: Special Edition Running and Obstacle Event
Welcome to Dirty Day – a special edition running and obstacle event from Rat Race, in partnership with Forest Facility. The event takes place around the woods of Burghley Estate with numerous obstacles. Proceeds raised go to the rainforest conservation initiative in Panama: Project Jungle.

Highlights
Earn a Dirty Weekend Retro Medal: For those seeking a challenge, you can do as many laps as possible within a 6-hour period to earn a retro medal.
Spend the day & do more! Forest Facility will offer additional adventure activities such as zip wires, axe throwing, archery, laser tag, mini tanks, and family treasure hunts.
This event uses the power of 1 forest in the UK to help purchase and protect a tract of forest in Central America as part of Project: Jungle.
Re-Experience Legendary Classics
Alongside 60 other obstacles, the event features old-skool classics like the big water jump, lake swim, and underground tunnels.
Itinerary & Organizers
Dirty Day is brought to you by Rat Race, the UK’s largest provider of adventure challenge events. The event utilizes existing obstacles at Forest Facility and opens up some old favorites. The format includes a special-edition 4-mile loop with options for 1 or 2 laps (60 or 120 obstacles). Teens can participate in the 4-mile course, and families have a 1.5-mile wave option.
Facilities
On-site parking is available for 5 GBP per car. Catering is provided by a local food truck, with hot drinks, composting toilets, and a valuables drop.
