The Devil's Loop - Langenberg Backyard Ultramarathon
The Devil's Loop - Langenberg Backyard Ultramarathon will take place in Leck from Saturday 19 September 2026 to Sunday 20 September 2026. The event is a backyard ultra format where participants complete 6.66km loops within a 60-minute time limit. The last person standing wins.
Race Details:
- Location: Langenberger Forst in Enge-Sande, with the event area at the sports field in Klintum.
- Distance per Loop: 6.66 km with approximately 91 meters of elevation gain, featuring strong climbs and a wavy profile.
- Loop Time Limit: 60 minutes. Failure to start the next loop on the hour results in disqualification.
- Start Time: Saturday, September 19, 2026, at 8:00 AM. Competition briefing at 7:40 AM.
- Night Rule: Headlamp required from approximately 7:00 PM on Saturday.
- Endurance: The event continues until only one runner remains. The possible award ceremony time depends on when "THE LAST ONE STANDING" is found.
- Aid Station: Located in the start/finish area, providing water, cola, and isotonic drinks.
