Event Details
Death by 5k returns to Tulsa for another exciting year! This signature challenge involves running ten 5k races, starting every 2.5 hours over a 24-hour period. The first 5k begins at 8 AM, followed by subsequent races at 10:30 AM, 1 PM, 3:30 PM, 6 PM, 8:30 PM, 11 PM, 1:30 AM, 4 AM, and 6:30 AM.
Participants must finish each 5k before the next one commences, making this event a true test of endurance, resilience, and stamina.
Location
The challenge will take place at River West Festival Park in Tulsa, along a paved river trail that includes two river crossings. Participants have options for resting in their cars or setting up tents between the runs.
What to Expect
- Meals provided at regular intervals: 8:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 9 PM, and 4:30 AM.
- Snacks and drinks available throughout the event including water and Gatorade.
- An event shirt and additional swag for participants.
- Coffin awards for finishers.
