The Boiling Pot 5K gets its name from the Iroquois origin of 'Canajoharie,' which is believed to mean 'the pot that washes itself.' This refers to the Canajoharie Boiling Pot, a circular gorge located just south of the village. This year, we're partnering with NBT Bank to close off Mohawk Street for an expanded start/finish area. Registration and packet pickup will be at NBT Bank. The event starts at 6:00 p.m. with the kids' fun run followed shortly by the 5K. Donations are accepted and volunteers are always welcome!
