Event Overview
Running is a team sport, and the Brian Diemer Family of Races Cross Country Team Challenge allows you and your friends to experience it together. This event resembles a high school-style cross country meet, using standard scoring and a 5K course. Participants can run as part of a team (5 to 7 individuals, top 5 score) or solo. Coed teams are also welcome.
Course Details
The event takes place at Richmond Park in Grand Rapids. The 5K course will feature mowed grass, packed dirt, and gravel. A FREE community 1 Mile Run, open to both youth and adults, kicks off the evening. The 5K portion of the event is chip-timed. An overview of the 2025 course is available at https://www.plotaroute.com/route/2330110, and the 2026 course is expected to be similar.
