Corri in Viola
The 2027 edition of the Corri in Viola will take place on Sunday, May 9, starting from the Parco Comunale di Legnago (VR).
This is a non-competitive run/walk event designed to raise awareness for Fibromyalgia and other chronic debilitating diseases. Once again, sport aims to be a moment of solidarity and a platform to shed light on lesser-known realities to the public: in this case, serious and disabling illnesses that are not yet officially recognized. Fibromyalgia, which affects approximately 3 million people in Italy (mostly women between 20 and 50 years old), is not yet officially recognized, and patients are often left alone, struggling to find adequate treatment. The same applies to other chronic debilitating diseases.
The net proceeds, after organizational expenses, will be entirely donated to CFU Italia ODV Comitato Fibromialgici Uniti.
