City Move – Bielefeld Day of Sport
Bielefeld moves. On September 13, 2026, the city will transform into a large stage for popular sports for a whole day – with plenty of opportunities to participate, try out, and watch. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., everything will revolve around sport, exercise, and community in Ravensberger Park, Wiesenbad, and Seidensticker Halle. Whether it's running classics, club presentations, the German Sports Badge, or open sports activities for all ages and performance levels – the "City Move – Bielefeld Day of Sport" invites everyone: families, beginners, recreational athletes, and ambitious athletes.
Registration for the runs will be possible from Friday, April 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. – registration deadline is September 4, 2026. The complete program with all further sports and exercise offerings will be published in July.
Runs: Registration and Courses
Schülerlauf | 2.7 km Run
For primary and secondary schools in Bielefeld and the surrounding area (up to grade 2007 and younger).
- Start: 10:00 AM
- Course: 2.7 kilometers (a shortened lap)
- Timing: Transponder (disposable chip)
- Prize: Every participant receives a medal. Also, cash prizes for the three schools with the most participants.

Bambini-Lauf
Children's run in two separate fields for children aged 5-6 years (without supervision) and 3-4 years (with supervision) | Offer: Warm-up program from XX to XX o'clock

- Course: 490 meters (around Rochdale Park)
- Timing: No
- Prize: Medals for all participating children

10-Kilometer-Run
Run for men and women according to DLO age groups.

- Course: 10 kilometers (three laps)
