Cheltenham Tri in the Park Junior & Adult Triathlon
Cheltenham Tri in the Park is an award-winning, family-friendly, off-road super-sprint triathlon set within the beautiful boundaries of Cheltenham’s Pittville Park. This event is ideal for families, those new to the sport, and seasoned triathletes looking for something different.
The event combines an indoor pool swim with an off-road cycle and run around the park. Chip timing and results are provided by What's My Time. All finishers receive a medal and a small goody bag.
On-site facilities include car parking, changing rooms, lockers, showers, and refreshments. Torie Clarke Soft Tissue Therapy will be available for post-race treatment.
Provisional Race Day Timetable:
- 11:30: Junior and Adult Registration and Transitions Open
- 12:45: Junior Triathlon Compulsory Race Q&A Brief Poolside
- 13:00: Junior Triathlon Race Start
- 15:15: Youth and Adult Triathlon Compulsory Race Q&A Brief Poolside
- 15:30: Youth Start and Adult Race Start

Distances by Category:
- Adult and Youth: 400 m swim, 10 km cycle, approx. 2.5 km run
- Tristar Start (8 yrs): 33 m swim, 800 m cycle, 500 m run
- Tristar 1 (9/10 yrs): 132 m swim, 2 km cycle, 1 km run
- Tristar 2 (11/12 yrs): 200 m swim, 4 km cycle, 1.5 km run
- Tristar 3 (13/14 yrs): 300 m swim, 6 km cycle, 2 km run
Entries require a British Triathlon Race Pass. Online entries close on 6 July 2026. Refunds are not offered and entries cannot be transferred.
Age group trophies will be awarded for male and female winners, with certificates for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in Junior categories.
