Challenge Salou - Costa Daurada 2027
Challenge Salou, a traditional half-distance triathlon in Spain, returns to the Costa Daurada, one hour from Barcelona, to offer a unique experience.
Event Distances:
- T100 Distance triathlon: 2 km of swimming, 80.1 km of cycling, and 17.8 km of running.
- Short Distance triathlon: 1 km of swimming, 53.4 km of cycling, and 9.3 km of running.
Race Experience:
Swimming: Swim in a spectacular beach with shallow water and views of the Ebro delta and Mussara mountain range.
Cycling: The circuit is totally flat and closed to traffic, featuring a mix of dual carriageway and a route through Salou village, allowing for high average speeds and great spectator opportunities.
Running: Discover the charm of the Costa Daurada with many spectators along the route, including a special 'Solar Hill' for them.
