CFB Esquimalt Navy Run - 20th Annual
The annual CFB Esquimalt Navy Run takes place on June 20, 2026 and offers both in-person and virtual participation. This inclusive community event is open to everyone and brings together the military community and the Greater Victoria community with a course through the streets of Esquimalt.

A Unit Challenge is available for members of CFB Esquimalt and Canadian units to register and compete together. Each year a commemorative T-shirt design is produced. Free childcare is available during the event to support participants.
Race package pick-up for the in-person event is held at Naden Athletic Centre, Upper Gym, 88 Naden Way. A government issued ID is required to access the base. Virtual participant packages are shipped to the address listed in Race Roster, so that address should be checked. Registration periods include Early, Regular and Late tiers; regular registration closes on June 12, 2026 and late registration is handled in person during race package pick-up.
A parking map for 2026 is noted as coming soon and attendees are encouraged to walk or cycle as parking spots may fill up. Last year more than 750 runners attended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

Sponsorship of this public, Navy-hosted event provides high visibility focused directly at your target audience — the military customer. Sponsorship commitments range from $500 to $7,000 and can be tailor-made to fit your organization’s marketing objectives. FREE Pancake Breakfast
Join us after the race for a free pancake breakfast, provided by the Esquimalt MFRC.
New Event Location / Plan your parking
The Navy Run will be held this year at CFB Esquimalt Workpoint, near the Nixon Gym building. Parking for the Navy Run can be found on the maps below. We encourage people to walk or ride your bike to get to the event. Come early as spots will fill up.
Race Week
Race Package Pick-up Dates
- Thursday, June 18 - 1300h – 1800h (1:00-6:00pm)
- Friday, June 19 - 1500h – 1830h (3:00-6:30pm)
There will be no race package pick up available on the day of the race.
