Calgary Women's Run 2026
The Calgary Women's Run 2026 takes place on Sunday August 23 2026 at a new site in North Glenmore Park, in the field across from the Calgary Canoe Club and Calgary Rowing Club. This is the 48th annual event, organized by a volunteer committee.
Participants can choose from the following distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
Registration categories include Individual, Mother-Daughter, and Sisterhood teams. Team times are averaged from each member’s time. Awards on race day include first, second, and third place for each distance plus oldest and youngest finishers; team category winners are named for Mother-Daughter and Sisterhood. Top age group finishers will be recognized after the event.
Proceeds from the 2026 race will support the local charity Made by Momma. The event expects about 300 women and girls running along the Glenmore Reservoir. All registrants receive a swag bag at race package pick up containing custom Calgary Women’s Run socks, post-race items from Lakeview Bakery and Village Ice Cream, Monogram Coffee products, and other sponsor goodies.
Online registration closes August 12 2026. The event is noted as one of Canada’s oldest women’s running races and relies on sponsors and volunteers for delivery. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
