Butterkuchenlauf 2026
The 15th Altländer Butterkuchenlauf is coming! On October 11, 2026, we will once again transform the Altes Land into a running route with heart and enjoyment.
Registration opens on March 6, 2026, at 12:00 PM!
Whether you are a professional, hobby runner, or family person – we have the right route for everyone:
- Children's run for our youngest sprinters.
- 6.5 km: Running, walking, running with a dog, or as a relay.
- 12 km: Running or as a relay.
- 18.5 km: For all who seek a sporting challenge.
What's new?
We want to make it as easy as possible for you. With your registration confirmation, you will receive a link to the self-service portal. There you can conveniently correct or change your data yourself. You can also change your chosen discipline if you feel more confident in the end!

To ensure everything runs smoothly on the event day, we have one big request: Download the official race announcement from our website and read it carefully. There you will find all details about registration, bib collection, and the on-site procedure.
Running for a good cause:
As every year, the Butterkuchenlauf is more than just sports. All proceeds will be donated to local clubs. With every step, you do something good not only for yourself but also for our community.

Review of the 14th Butterkuchenlauf
A big thank you to everyone who participated on October 10th! With 1,100 runners, we achieved a new record participation last year. Even more beautiful than the sporting results is the sum that came together through your participation: A total of 10,700 Euros were donated to local organizations.
Outlook for 2026
We are already looking forward to next year! The 15th Altländer Butterkuchenlauf will take place on 11.10.2026. Registration will be activated shortly at www.butterkuchenlauf.de
