Brig Bash 5 - Perth Road Runners
The 2026 (27th) Brig Bash will take place on Wednesday 1st July 2026. The race is sold out/full.
First run in 1998, this friendly summer evening five-mile race is fast and flat (less than 25m of climbing in total), all on tarmac and largely over quiet country roads to the south of Perth. It is eminently suitable for producing a personal best time or just having a really enjoyable run. Since its start, the race has attracted runners of all standards from total beginners to internationals.
The race is licensed by Scottish Athletics and first aid provision is supplied for the event. Prizes are awarded for overall places, a first non binary finisher prize, team prizes and age category prizes subject to minimum entry numbers for cash awards. The event includes an after race buffet.
Race Entry
Entry is via Entry Central. There are no on-the-night entries. 332 places in total are available in 2026. Minimum entry age is 16.
Race entry fees for 2026 are £17 (Scottish Athletics members) and £20 (non-SA). Traffic will be calmed/slowed on a 1km section of the race.
