Bournemouth Coastal TEN - Bournemouth, Dorset
The Bournemouth Coastal TEN offers two measured distances that run along the Dorset seafront from Hengistbury Head. The event base is at Hengistbury Head nature reserve, which provides facilities and ample hard-standing parking.
Both routes follow Bournemouth seafront paths and include a section along Boscombe Pier with uninterrupted sea views. On clear days the course offers views toward the Isle of Wight, The Needles, and Old Harry Rocks on the Jurassic Coast. The routes are largely flat, traffic-free, and use smooth off-road paths with little climbing.
Entry includes chip timing, on-course water stations, a finisher's medal, a personalised certificate, post-race refreshments, and first aid support. The course is marshalled and signposted using pink arrows and pink tape; hazards and road junctions are marked with caution signs. Participants collect their race bib on arrival and are asked to bring a QR code for registration. The event operates a plastic-free policy and requests participants bring a reusable cup or bottle for use at water stations. Spectators are welcome at the venue and along the route. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
