Boston Running Festival - 11 April 2027
The Boston Running Festival (Boston Marathon UK) is a road running event with multiple race distances and entry limits. The course is officially measured and race times are accredited for use as qualifying times for other marathons. The organisers promote the course as the flattest marathon in the country.
Event distances:
- Marathon (full)
- Half marathon
- 10K
- 5 km Fun Run
Maximum entry capacities are set for each event: full marathon 1,300 places, half marathon 700, 10K 400, fun run 100. The route information identifies 12 water stations along the course. Entrants are required to comply with UK Athletics (UKA) licence standards for minimum ages: fun run 11 years, 10K 15 years, half marathon 17 years, marathon 18 years.
There is a registration deadline in March for postal delivery of race packs; late entries may be possible into early April subject to availability and the booking agent. Entry fees vary by distance and by affiliation status; published fees include separate rates for UK-affiliated and other entrants. The event operates under UKA anti-doping rules. Support runners for athletes with disabilities are accommodated through a registration process and specified guidelines. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
