Blueberry Dash 5K

Registration is $40 online and closes on Friday, August 1, 9 p.m. Tee shirts are available for the first 200 registrants. Packet pick-up is available the night before the race (5-7 p.m.) and on race morning (7:00 - 8:00 a.m.) at the pavillion in Bellows Park.
The race is professionally timed by Rotpac Racing of Detroit. A shotgun start for timed runners or walkers is at 8:15 a.m. Untimed walkers and runners can begin anytime between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m.
The course is an out-and-back route along South Shore Drive E. The roadway will not be closed to traffic. Law enforcement will monitor speed, and a courtesy car will move continually through the race route. Strollers and mobility devices are welcome. Children up to age 17 may accompany parents or guardians at no charge.
Parking is available in Bellows Park and along Bellows Ave., S Shore Drive E, and Thomas Road. Ride-sharing is encouraged due to limited parking.
All proceeds support Benzie Senior Resources, helping Benzie County adults 60 and older. A post-race fellowship and refreshment gathering will be held in the Bellows Park pavillion.
Join us for an evening of music by K. Jones and the Benzie Playboys at The Cabbage Shed in Elberta on race night (7-9 p.m.) for dancing. Donations supporting Benzie Senior Resources are appreciated. Benzie Bus provides shuttle service between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. between Elberta's Waterfront Park and The Cabbage Shed.
