Blessed Trinity Academy XC Invitational
This cross country event is hosted at Blessed Trinity Academy, with all races starting and ending on the Soccer Field. The course is challenging, featuring several hills and is primarily on grass with road crossings. It offers a spectator-friendly start and finish area.
Course Details:
- Varsity & JV: 1.71 Miles
- Developmental: 1.20 Miles
Meet Rules & Regulations:
- Runners may participate in only one race per day.
- Cross Country scoring is in effect, based on the top 5 runners per team.
- Runners can move up in classification but not down.
- Runners are permitted to wear a watch.
- Teams should bring garbage bags for clean-up.
Race Day Timeline:
- 7:30 AM - Registration Opens & Tent Setup
- 8:15 AM - Walkthrough for JV & Varsity
- 8:20 AM - Walkthrough for Developmental
- 9:00 AM - Developmental Boys (1.2 miles - 4th Grade & Under)
- 9:20 AM - Developmental Girls (1.2 miles - 4th Grade & Under)
- 9:45 AM - JV Boys (1.71 miles - Grades 5 & 6)
- 9:48 AM - JV Girls (1.71 miles - Grades 5 & 6)
- 10:15 AM - Varsity Boys (1.71 miles - Grades 7 & 8)
- 10:18 AM - Varsity Girls (1.71 miles - Grades 7 & 8)
Awards Ceremony:
Scheduled between 10:30 AM - 10:45 AM, immediately following the last race. In case of bad weather, the ceremony will be held in the gym.
- Team Awards: Trophies for the Top 3 Teams in each Developmental, JV, and Varsity Race.
- Individual Awards: Medals for the Top 15 Boys and Girls Finishers in all races.
Amenities:
- Fully stocked concession stand with water, Gatorade, and hot food.
- Ample parking and restroom facilities near the start/finish line.
- Plenty of space for tent setup along the ridge opposite the Start/Finish line.
- A 50/50 raffle drawing will occur at the beginning of the awards ceremony.
