BigSky Trails (AIR) - Classic Element Trail Series
Inspired by the classic element AIR, BigSky is the final event in the four-part Classic Element Trail Series. Scheduled for Sunday, 20th September 2026, this trail running event takes place at Hyde Common, Frogham, Nr Fordingbridge, SP6 2JD, within the New Forest National Park.
The course starts from a viewpoint at Hyde Common and features marked and marshalled trails through open plains and forest paths, offering views of abundant wildlife. The finish is along Hampton Ridge, returning to Hyde Common.

- 18 Miles: £44
- Marathon: £52
- 50k Ultramarathon: £62
Note: Canicross entries are not accepted.
Start Times:
- 18 mile: 7:30 AM
- Marathon: 7:20 AM
- 50k Ultramarathon: 7:15 AM
Aid Stations & Hydration:
Aid stations are provided with sweet and savoury snacks (including vegan options), water, and flat coke. The event is cupless. Precision Fuel & Hydration products will be available.
- 18 mile route: 2 aid stations
- Marathon route: 3 aid stations
- 50k Ultramarathon route: 4 aid stations
Mandatory Kit & Cut-off Times:
- Minimum 500ml fluid required.
- Runners advised to carry appropriate clothing for variable weather.
- GPX file download recommended.
- Cut-off times: 4.5 hours for 18 miles, 7 hours for the marathon, and 8.5 hours for the 50k.
Additional Information:
A bag drop tent will be available. Event T-shirts can be pre-ordered. Volunteers and photographers will be present.
