When: Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th Nov 2025. Night races start from 18:00, canicross races from 10:00, day time races from 11:00. Please see the Provisional Schedule for details.

Distances: We have 5km and 10km runs in both the night and day time races. We also have a kids 500m run for the day time races. There are no cut offs, though please note the races are not open to pure walkers, but we always welcome people who will do a mix of run, jog and walk their way around our routes.
Register: Register for the night race and day race. The 500m is £5, 5km is £24 and 10km is £29. Min age for 5km runners is 12, min age for 10km runners is 14.
Group discounts: Find out more here. 10-19 runners save 15%, 20-49 runners save 20%, 50+ runners save 25%. Runners can include any mix of distances to reach the 10 runner minimum, everyone just needs to be racing on the same date.
Format: We set off runners in waves of ~100 runners so everyone has plenty of space to enjoy their run. When you register you will be given the option to select a wave, please share your wave selection with your friends or family so you can start together.
Drinks Stations: There is no drinks station on the 5km. There is 1 drinks station on the 10km. There will be water and a feast of snacks including GF, DF and vegan snacks at the finish.
Medals: All runners of 5km and longer distances will take home a large 10cm x 10cm, 2 sided medal specific to this event. Fun run medals may be a mix of designs.
Terrain: There is mix of solid stone paths, woodland trails and open grass meadows, expect some puddles and muddy sections. The routes are largely flat, with only a couple of little rises and falls. All our courses are very comprehensively marked and well marshalled so you can relax and enjoy your run. The night races are marked with glow sticks and reflective signs. Transport & Parking: NEW FOR 2025 Parking is free for night race runners (parking free from 17:00) and it is £3 all day for day racers, payment can only be made via the Just Park app (location ID 187814) Parking charges and restrictions are in place at the other car parks around the university. The nearest train station is Bath Spa, which is 1.5 miles from the University.
Why run at the Skyline
The Skyline routes are a hill top tour taking in woodland trails, open meadows and iconic landmarks high above the city of Bath. The trails themselves are a mix of solid woodland trail, a few sections of more natural woodland and some long open sections across grass. Between the trees the views open up to give fantastic night time and day time views about the city.We have 5km and 10km options for both the night and day races, alongside dedicated time for a canicross wave as the part of the day time offering.
Why run with us
We take pride in providing very well marked routes complete with distance markers so you can relax and enjoy your run, we also publish route maps and make GPX files available so you know what to expect when you are out on the route. Our wonderful marshal team will be out on the course to cheer you on at regular intervals, provide a presence at key points and serve you drinks and food at our amazing feast stations. There is water on the course at all of our races, electrolyte at our warmer and longer races and coke in the later stages of our marathon and ultra events.
At our frequent 5km feed stations on our half marathon or longer events, and at all our finish lines you will find chocolate, sweets, fresh fruits, crisps, haribo, as well as GF and vegan snacks.
