Barrathon 2026
Barrathon returns to Barra on Saturday 27 June 2026 as an island half marathon organised by Barra Running Club. The event uses a coastal route and includes a post-race ceilidh. The page notes a warm Barra welcome as part of the event atmosphere.
The race was first held in 2000 and was last run in 2019. Historically the event became a sell-out favourite and was previously capped at 300 runners. When entries reopened it sold out in four minutes, and the waiting list is now closed due to high demand.
