Arizona Youth Triathlon - Swim, Bike, Run
Join us at the Arizona - Swim, Bike, Run Youth Triathlon. The swim takes place at the Litchfield Park recreation center pool. The bike portion takes place along a community path and along Old Litchfield Rd and the run runs long Old Litchfield Rd and around the Tierra Verde Lake Park. This is a USAT sanctioned event. All participants must be a USAT member or purchase a one day membership.
USAT Sanctioned Event Benefits
Being a USAT Sanctioned Event means USA Triathlon provides insurance for the event and covers individual participants in case of an accident. Results are reported to USAT for national rankings. Membership benefits include accident insurance, subscriptions to USA Triathlon Magazine and Multisport Zone e-newsletter, national rankings, exclusive discounts, and the opportunity to qualify for Team USA and compete in national championships.
Event Schedule
Please pick up timing chip 30 minutes before your event start. BIKE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY! NO HELMET = NO RACE. We have colored arrows for each age group; participants are to follow their color arrow along the course.
- 6:30 am: Start 13-14 - COLOR GREEN
- 7:00 am: Start 11-12 - COLOR GREEN
- 7:30 am: Start 6 and Under - COLOR YELLOW
- 8:00 am: Start 7-8 - COLOR RED
- 8:30 am: Start 9-10 - COLOR RED
Event Divisions
- 6 and Under: .25 yards swim, .53 mile bike ride, .30 mile run
- 7 - 8 and 9-10: 100 yards swim, 1.06 mile bike ride, .75 mile run
- 11-12 and 13-14: 150 yards swim, 2.12 mile bike ride, 1.25 mile run
Participant Swag
Each registered participant will get an Event t-shirt and finisher medal. Check website for the last day to guarantee event t-shirt.
Awards
We will have awards for each age group for boys and girls. Top 3 boys and top 3 girls.
