Altrincham Beer Mile 2026
The Grand Finale - 10 years in the making! For one last time, the Timperley Track will host the Altrincham Beer Mile (& the Prosecco Mile!). This event features 4 Beers and 4 Laps of fun on Friday, 10th July at 7pm. If you've never participated, now is your chance!
The entry fee covers the cost of food and a special memento. Participants can run the full beer mile or form a team for a relay lap.
For the kids' Fruit Shoot 400, adults can enter online and bring a contribution for food for the children on the night. Please notify the organizer at [email protected] with the number of children attending to ensure sufficient fruit shoots are available.
All runners are requested to Bring Your Own Beer. Food and memories will be provided. Please arrive between 6:45 / 7:00 pm to receive numbers and confirm race orders.
All abilities are welcome and encouraged. We anticipate 4/5 races starting around 7:10 pm.
Races Include:
- Kids Fruit Shoot 400 - 1 lap of the track and 1 fruit shoot.
- The Beer Mile - 4 beers, 4 laps.
- The Prosecco Mile - 1 glass per lap poured by your very own sommelier!
- The Relay - 4x400m relay, 1 beer, 1 lap each for those wanting a taste of the action.
The choice of beer can suit your preference, with a minimum of a standard 330ml bottle. Alternatively, other alcoholic drinks like Fruit Cider (ideally 330ml bottles) are acceptable. Please bring 4 beers/drinks of at least 330ml each.
Official rules can be found on www.beermile.com, though these are often slightly adapted. Catering By Duncan Dickinson will provide high-quality BBQ food, with vegan and veggie options available. Spectators are welcome to enjoy the food.
