Course
A scenic approximately 5 km loop (asphalt and paths) in the Wilhelmsburg Inselpark. A checkpoint on the loop will monitor lap counts.

Competitions
Individual Run: The course can be run 1-3 times (approx. 5 km, 10 km, or 15 km). The running distance does not need to be specified beforehand; simply complete the desired number of laps on the event day. The timing system will record the laps run and thus the distance covered. Relay Race: The course must be run 4 times. A relay team consists of at least 2 and a maximum of 4 runners. The division of relay runners is determined independently. A specific mention of individual team members is not necessary.
Participation
Eligible participants:
- For the relay and 5 km: born 2016 or later
- For 10 km: born 2012 or later
- For 15 km: born 2010 or later
Anyone who has trained and has no medical objections to participating is eligible to start with the official race number. Club membership is not required.
Registration
Register at sunset-series.de. Each registrant will receive an automatic confirmation of participation via the provided email address. Registrations by phone, email, and without direct debit authorization will not be processed. Missing information and associated bank fees (€15.00) are the responsibility of the participant. No refund of the entry fee in case of non-attendance.
The race number must be worn unchanged on the front of sportswear and is generally non-transferable.
Group Registrations for Clubs or Companies
If your club/company wishes to register a group for the Altra Sunset Hamburg and requires an invoice, please send an inquiry to [email protected]. An additional fee of €10.00 incl. VAT will be charged for individual invoicing.
Registration Deadline
Sunday, July 5, 2026, 11:59 PM. Online late registrations are possible from July 6, 2026, until the start, provided the participation limit has not been reached. Payment on-site in cash. No late registrations for relays.
Entry Fees
Individual: €25.00* (until 05.07.2026), €28.00* (from 06.07.2026)
Relay: €70.00** (until 05.07.2026)
* plus €3.00 timing fee (waived if you own a BMS chip)

Team Tent
€30.00. Book your own team tent (3x3m) on the event grounds during registration – while supplies last. An exclusive home base for relaxing, cheering, and decorating! We provide a 3x3m tent with seating and drinks – you bring your team and friends!
Timing System
Timing is done with a transponder. The timing fee is €3.00. If you own a BMS chip, the timing fee is waived. Your personal five-digit BMS chip number must be provided during registration. Alternatively, a BMS chip can be purchased for €19.90 during registration.
