7. Eversburger Gewässer Ultramarathon
The 7. Eversburger Gewässer Ultramarathon will take place in Osnabrück, Germany on Sunday, August 30, 2026. This event offers two distance options: a 45 km Ultramarathon and a 30 km alternative course.
Race Details
Start and Finish: Park & Ride Parking Lot "Rubbenbruchsee", Navigation: Rubbenbruchweg, Osnabrück. Access via A1 exit OS-Hafen, turn right shortly before the Shell gas station and right again immediately.
Start Time: 7:30 AM
Time Limit: 7.5 hours plus organizer's tolerance.
Entry Fee: 5 €, payable in cash at the start.
Timing: Manual timing by Susanne Laig.
Participant Limit: 45. A waiting list will be established if the limit is reached.
Refreshments: None provided; self-catering ("trunk catering"). The parking lot will be passed twice per lap. Bring drinks if needed.
WC/Shower: Not available.
Registration, Results, and Certificate: Via race result; registration open until 6 PM the day before the event, provided the participant limit is not reached.
Course Information
Course: A flat, 15.1-kilometer loop to be completed 3 times for the 45 km run (totaling approximately 45.3 km). The 30 km run consists of 2 laps. The course is not marked; a track is recommended.
Traffic: The course is not traffic-free; German road traffic regulations (STVO) apply. There are several road crossings per lap; exercise caution. Motor vehicle traffic has priority. Use of crossing aids and pedestrian traffic lights is mandatory.
Route Description: The course involves running around the Rubbenbruchsee, following the Landwehrgraben stream, passing the Ententeich, and navigating under a railway line. It follows the Hase river on both sides and passes the Haster Schleuse, continuing along the canal. The route also goes through the Eversburg area with the Liebfrauenkirche and along the railway line.
