5 Peaks - Weaselhead Trail Running
The fifth and final race of the Central Alberta 5 Peaks Trail Running Series takes place at Weaselhead Flats in southwest Calgary. The park covers 237 hectares and is home to wildlife and plantlife; the course uses hard pack and singletrack trails and highlights autumn colors.
Race distances and maps are subject to change based on trail conditions. Available distances:
- Kids - 1 km
- Kids - 3 km
- Sport - 7.6 km
- Enduro - 14.0 km
This is a cup-free event. Water and an electrolyte drink are available at the start, finish and at one or more aid stations on course. Runners planning to be out for longer than an hour should carry a receptacle for liquids and calories. Swag and finisher medals are not included in the individual registration price and can be purchased through Race Roster. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each gender and age category for each distance, and to the top three male and female finishers overall; all awards and swag must be picked up at the race.
Safety rules prohibit dogs, headphones, strollers or baby joggers, and nordic walking poles on the race course. Washroom facilities are available at the start and finish. Parking is available in the Weaselhead Flats parking lot and on street. Spectators are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.

- 6:30 p.m. - Packet Pick Up Strides Ends
Saturday, September 26th
- 8:30 a.m. - Onsite Packet Pick Up: Weaselhead Flats
- 9:15 a.m. - 3K Kid's Run Start
- 9:40 a.m. - 1k Kid's Run - sign up is free and done the morning of the race.
- 9:45 a.m. - Packet Pick Up Closes
- 10:00 a.m. - Enduro/Sport - Self Seeded Waves
- 11:00 a.m. - Post Race Food available in the Expo
- 12:00 p.m. - Awards
