35. Bergwitztriathlon 2026

The Bergwitztriathlon is organized by TriathlonFreunde Wittenberg e.V. and adheres to the rules and regulations of the German Triathlon Union (DTU).
Competitions:

Jedermann-Triathlon (Individual Triathlon):
Time: 09:30 Uhr
Distances: 500m Swim - 20km Bike - 5km Run
Ideal for beginners and recreational athletes (age 16+). Athletes complete all disciplines individually. Road traffic regulations apply, helmet is mandatory, and drafting is prohibited.

BergKIDS-Triathlon (Kids Triathlon):
Time: 12:45 Uhr
Distances: 200m Swim - 5km Bike - 1km Run
For athletes aged 10-15 years (born 2011-2016). Swimming takes place in Bergwitzsee. Road bikes are allowed, but disc wheels and aero bars are prohibited. A signed liability waiver from a parent/guardian is required.

Bambini-Triathlon (Toddler Triathlon):
Details to be confirmed, but typically for younger children.
Important Notes:
- Brightly colored swim caps are mandatory; black caps are not allowed.
- Large bags are not permitted in the transition area.
- Parents are asked not to accompany children into the transition area; helpers will be available.
