2026 Lake Antoine Classic
The Lake Antoine Classic is a fundraising event for Special Olympics. All race proceeds (and donations) go directly to Special Olympics.
Course Details:
- 15K Run & Bike: Travel through Fumee Lake Natural Area. The course is mostly flat, unpaved scenic trails.
- 5 Mile Run, 5 Mile Walk, 5K Run, 5K Walk: Around beautiful Lake Antoine. The course is flat and paved (will accommodate strollers).
All events start and finish at Lake Antoine County Park, Iron Mountain, MI.
Race Day Information:
Date: Saturday, August 16, 2026 CST
Registration & Packet Pickup: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM at Lake Antoine Park
Start Time: 9:00 AM CST for all races
Registration: Preregistration is online via Runsignup.com. Race day registration is available with late fees; t-shirts not guaranteed.
Late Registration Period: August 8 - August 14, 2026
Pricing:
- 15K Run, 5 Mile Run, 5K Run: $25.00 preregistration, $30.00 late registration.
- 5K Walk, 5 Mile Walk, 15K Bike: $20.00 preregistration, $25.00 late registration.
- Special Olympians: Free
- Children 12 and under: Half price
- Discounts: $2/participant UPRR discount
Additional Information:
- Leashed dogs are welcome.
- Helmets are required for the 15K Bike.
Awards:
- Competitive Events (15K Run, 5 Mile Run, 5K Run): Overall awards for top three male and female finishers. Age group awards available.
- Non-Competitive Events: 5 Mile Walk, 5K Walk, 15K Bike.
