2025 LOTO Turkey Trot 5k
The Lake Area Turkey Trot 5K is a family tradition held on Thanksgiving morning at Camdenton High School. 2025 will be the 16th year for this event. It's attended by many families who want to kick their holiday off with some exercise, friendly competition and camaraderie.
The 1 mile fun run begins at 7:45 AM CST, the 5k at 8:30 AM CST. Walk-up registration will open at 7:00 AM CST.
Hosted by FundRuns, all profits go to Share the Harvest food pantry and Camdenton Cross Country team.

A very few extra shirts have been ordered and will be given away as long as they are available on race morning.
Packet Pickup:
- Wednesday, November 26, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Shortleaf Brewing, 311 Business Rt. 5 in Camdenton.
- Race morning packet pickup starts at 7:00 AM at the high school, 662 Laker Pride Rd, Camdenton.
On-site registration will also be available at packet pickup times.
Family Discount:
Register 4 or more people at the same time and save $15.
Awards:
No awards for the fun run. Children completing the event will receive a finisher's medal.
5k Awards: Overall Male & Female winners receive a plaque and cash prize. Age group awards (top three) for Men's and Women's Divisions in age groups: 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and up. Medals for boys and girls in age groups: 10 & under, 11-14.
