You'll climb the Old Coast Rd. in Big Sur. Along the route, you'll see some of the most amazing views that the California coastline has to offer. The course is a bit challenging with the hills, which makes it all the more exciting and rewarding. All the ingredients are here for a great weekend. Bring a picnic and enjoy the picnic grounds where the run starts and finishes.
Registration Information
Registration fees range from $85 to $135 depending on the event and age group. Early bird pricing available until March 29. Bib numbers will be mailed out to participants about a week before the event. T-shirts for all participants and awards for top finishers.
Course Details
The marathon course is 42.195 km, the half marathon is 21.0975 km, and the 5 mile run is 8.04672 km. Course cut-off time is 6.5 hours. Aid stations available at various points along the course.
Event Logistics
Athlete check-in on race day morning from 8:00-8:50AM. Course will be marked with orange ribbons. No headphones allowed during the race. Dogs are not allowed on the course.

Camping available at Andrew Molera State Park and Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park. Limited parking, carpooling recommended. Nearest hotels in Carmel and Monterey areas.
