Zoolauf Augsburg 2026
The Zoolauf Augsburg is a charity run through the Augsburg Zoo, initiated by the Rotary Club Augsburg – Renaissance City. This unique event allows participants to run laps while being observed by zebras, capuchin monkeys, rhinos, tigers, and sea lions. The goal is to complete as many laps as possible, with each lap raising €2 for the zoo. The lap length is approximately 1.4 km. For safety reasons, the number of runners is limited to 350.
Registration Fees and Prizes
Registration fees are €40 for adults and €20 for children. Attractive prizes related to leisure, culture, and experiences will be raffled among all participants. The best runners (men, women, children) will be honored and receive annual zoo passes as prizes.
Schedule for June 12, 2026
- 17:15 – 18:15: Distribution of starting documents at the Lion House
- 18:30: Start of the race
- 19:30: End of the race
- 20:30: Raffle and award ceremony for runners
Following the race, there will be a social gathering in the beer garden of the zoo restaurant. The zoo closes to the public at 18:30. Fans and friends of the runners are welcome but cannot enter the zoo after 18:30. The exit for all participants, fans, and friends is through the zoo restaurant.
