Event Details
The YMCA Autumn Dash 5K is a running event held in Southern York County, Pennsylvania. Participants will begin and end their loop at the W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA in Shrewsbury, PA. The course winds along country roads, through a Senior-living campus, and a community park.
Registration Information
Registration opens April 1, 2025, and closes on race day at 8:00 am. Early registration is encouraged as race fees increase on September 1, 2025. The event is open to ages 8 and up.
Race Timing & Awards
The race features a gun start and chip timing by Falcon Race Timing. Awards will be given to the Overall Male and Female Winners, plus 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in male and female age divisions (8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over). An awards ceremony will follow the event at 9:30 am.

- Saturday, September 20, 7:00 - 8:15 am
Packet pickup is inside The W. Dale Brougher Foundation YMCA. You may pick up for multiple runners.
Race Day Safety & Parking
Professional traffic control and a first aid tent hosted by WellSpan Health Sports Medicine will be in place. Parking is available at the YMCA, 100 Constitution Avenue, and on Fairview Court. The YMCA parking lot will close at 8:00 am and reopen after the race start. Constitution Ave will be closed from 8:20 - 8:45 am for the race start. Please note: strollers and dogs are prohibited on the race route and in the community park.

The Autumn Dash registration fees and donations directly support Rock Steady Boxing programs, which empower individuals to fight the effects of Parkinson's Disease by helping them maintain independence and better manage symptoms.
