Worcester Marathon, Half Marathon & 10K
The Worcester races take place on 16 May 2027 and include three road race distances around Worcester and nearby villages. The event uses rural lanes and local footpaths, with the finish at Worcester Rugby Club.
- Marathon (minimum age 18)
- Half Marathon (minimum age 17)
- 10K (minimum age 15)
The marathon is two laps of a rural loop. The half marathon follows the same first lap then returns to the finish after a single loop. The 10K route starts on Offerton Lane, includes a canal towpath section of about 4 km and returns to the main route to the finish.
All finishers receive a bespoke 2027 medal. Race numbers and timing chips are collected on race day and there are no day entries. A secure baggage drop and multiple toilet facilities are provided at the finish area, and at least one toilet will be available on the course. Water stations are placed on course with seven for the marathon, three for the half and one for the 10K; some stations will offer energy drink in plastic cups.
Parking is managed by pre-registration at Sixways with ANPR. Photographs will be available after the race. Prizes are awarded to the first three men and women and to age group winners. The event partners with St Richard’s Hospice and offers options to run in support of the charity.
Entry fees vary by distance and affiliation: marathon £45 affiliated £47 unaffiliated; half marathon £39 affiliated £41 unaffiliated; 10K £32 affiliated £34 unaffiliated. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
