Wishing Flower Walk & 5k
Join Project NICU for the 4th Annual Wishing Flower Walk & 5K! This event supports families with children in the neonatal intensive care unit and the medical professionals who care for them. We connect with NICU parents and offer resources to support them during their journey both in the hospital and beyond. We recognize the amazing medical teams that care for these families and celebrate them. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Race Day Schedule
- Registration/Packet Pick Up: 7:00am EDT
- 5K Run/Walk: 8:30am EDT
- 1 Mile Run/Walk: 9:00am EDT
- Dandelion Dash (kids 12 and under): 8:45am EDT
After the race, enjoy the Palava Hut and Hope Grows Zone with kids' activities. Dogs are not allowed.
Registration
Pre-registration until Friday, August 22 at midnight. Race fees include all-day zoo admission! All mailed entries must be received by Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Make checks payable to Hermes Sports & Events and mail to: Hermes Sports & Events, 2425 West 11th St. Suite #2, Cleveland, Ohio 44113
Courses and Prices
- 1 Mile: $35 ($0 ages 0-1, $20 ages 2-12)
- 5K: $35 ($0 ages 0-1, $20 ages 2-12)
- Supporter: $20
Price increases after August 21, 2025, at 11:59pm EDT. Supporter wristbands must be picked up by 9:00am and zoo entry by 11:00am.
What You Get
Participants receive a short-sleeved t-shirt and post-race refreshments. Kids in the Dandelion Kids Dash receive a cape.
