Whiteswan Mile
The Whiteswan Mile takes place on July 12, 2026 at 18 Innovation Boulevard, Saskatoon, SK. The event serves as the Saskatchewan Athletics 2026 Road Mile Championship and is presented by the Saskatoon Road Runners Association. Funds raised will support the Huskie Athletics Track and Field and Cross Country Running teams.
The race has been reimagined on a new flat and fast course. Multiple events and categories are offered:
- Open Mile on a certified course
- Invitational Mile record-eligible
- Kids Half Mile (800 m)
- U20 Road Mile
- Masters 35-105 Road Mile
Chip timing is used for the Open and Invitational Miles. Open Mile cash prizes are listed for 1st to 3rd overall (male and female): $150, $100, $50 respectively. Non-cash prizes will be provided to top male and female finishers in U20, 20-34, and masters categories. Gender-diverse runners are welcomed but are not eligible for age-class awards at this time.
The Invitational sets entry standards (for example Men 4:30, Women 5:28) and offers prize money for the top five, plus a velocity bonus for champions who break specified time standards. Invited athletes receive complimentary sponsored entry.
Bib pickup is available Saturday at Innovation Place with parking by 18 Innovation Boulevard, and last-minute pickup is available at the start line on race day. Award presentations, snacks and refreshments follow the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
