Welcome to the Wellington Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon 2024-2025 Series! This event is designed for children aged 6 to 15 years, providing a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to participate in a fun and supportive environment.
Event Details
The TRYathlon will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM NZDT at Kilbirnie Park, Wellington. Participants will compete in various age-appropriate courses, including swimming, cycling, and running.
Course Information
Each age group has a specific course designed to challenge and engage young athletes:
- 6 Year Olds: 50m swim / 1.5km run
- 7 Year Olds: 50m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
- 8-10 Year Olds: 75-100m swim / 4km cycle / 1.5km run
- 11-15 Year Olds: 150-200m swim / 8km cycle / 1.5km run
Fundraising Opportunity
Participants can also engage in the TRY IT ON fundraising programme, which allows them to raise funds for the Weet-Bix TRYathlon Foundation, helping less fortunate kids in their community to participate in the event.
