Wasaga Beach Triathlon and Duathlon
This event is hosted in the Main Beach area of Wasaga Beach, Ontario. Multiple race formats are offered, including sprint and Olympic distance events, swim bike options, duathlon races, and relay entries with a team captain registration process and free team member registration.
The transition area is paved and overlooks the swim course. Registration, food service, awards and the finish line are located by Wasaga Beach. The courses are described as flat and fast.
Online registration runs in two pricing windows and closes on August 27 at 9 AM or when event entry limits are reached. Registrations completed by August 9 receive a race specific T shirt; later registrations receive a series T shirt. Participants may opt out of receiving a T shirt for a CA$5 reduction in their cart.
A valid Triathlon Ontario membership or a Triathlon Ontario one day fee must be purchased during checkout. The refund policy permits a 75 percent refund four weeks prior to event weekends, a 25 percent refund two weeks prior, and no refunds within two weeks of an event weekend; processing fees apply. Transfers are allowed between sub events for a fee, participant to participant for a fee, and event to event for a fee, subject to deadlines, fee differences and availability.
