Ward Parkway Thanksgiving Day Run

Location: 8600 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, MO 64114
Start times:
- 8:20 AM - Tiny Turkey Trot (Kids 12 and Under)
- 8:30 AM - Downhill Mile Run
- 8:40 AM - 10K Run
- 9:00 AM - 5K Run and Mile Walk
All participants receive a long-sleeve thermal shirt, a 6” pie (finisher medal), and free photos. Traditional metal finisher medals can be purchased during registration.
Packet Pickup Information:
- Tuesday - 11/25: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet (Ward Parkway Center)
- Wednesday - 11/26: 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM at Fleet Feet (Ward Parkway Center)
- Thursday – Race Morning 11/27: 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM at Ward Parkway Center (south of Trader Joe’s)
Awards will be given to top finishers in overall categories and age groups. Awards will not be mailed.
Charity Partner: Harvesters Community Food Network. Donations can be made during registration, packet pickup, or on race day.
Refunds are not given, but participants can switch to the virtual run option by emailing [email protected]. Registrations cannot be transferred to another year or race, but can be transferred to another participant or distance.
The event will proceed rain, snow, or extreme temperature. It will be postponed for lightning and cancelled in case of a tornado warning.
No motorized vehicles, roller blades, bikes, or dogs are allowed on the course.
