Walhallalauf 2027
The Walhallalauf will take place in Donaustauf on Sunday, April 25, 2027. This event aims to inspire children and youth for sports, with free participation in children's runs. Since 2015, regional organizations supporting children's and youth's physical activity have been supported through benefit actions.
Courses
- 10 km Lauf: 10 km circuit, flat, mostly paved, gravel.
- 5 km Lauf: 5.4 km circuit, flat, mostly paved.
- Waldlauf (Forest Run): 7.1 km circuit, challenging (approx. 160m elevation gain), paved, gravel, and forest paths.
- Nordic Walken (Nordic Walking): 7.1 km circuit, challenging (approx. 160m elevation gain), paved, gravel, and forest paths.
- 1,000 m Kinderlauf (Children's Run): 1,000 m circuit, 1 lap, park and meadow paths (for ages approx. 8+).
- 600 m Kinderlauf (Children's Run): 600 m course, park and meadow paths (up to approx. 7 years).
- 400 m Kinderlauf (Children's Run): 400 m course, park and meadow paths (up to approx. 5 years).
Information
The start and finish area is located at the Fürstengarten parking lot (opposite Maxstraße 2) in Donaustauf. Further details regarding start times, start direction, travel and parking, late registration, start documents, children, dogs, and results lists can be found on the organizer's website.
Benefiz (Benefit)
Since the first Walhallalauf, our goal has been to "inspire children and youth for sports," which is why participation in the children's runs is completely free. Since 2015, we have also focused on supporting regional organizations in promoting children's and youth's physical activity through our benefit actions. In 2026, the run will support the GeschwisterCLUB Regensburg.
