Waldkirchener Kirchturmlauf
The Waldkirchener Kirchturmlauf is an established running event in Waldkirchen, a celebration for all sports and running enthusiasts and the whole family. It has been initiated and organized for 14 years by the association Haus der Natur, Kultur, Kunst und Jugend e. V. (HNKKJ) in close cooperation with the city of Waldkirchen.
Main Race (Hauptlauf)
Experience the WALDKIRCHNER KIRCHTURMLAUF on the 10 km challenge or on half the distance (5 km). The 10 km run starts at the church tower in Waldkirchen at 11:30 AM, and the 5 km run starts halfway along the route, with starters being brought there by our 5 km shuttle. The 10 km distance leads through Waldkirchen to the Erlauzwieseler See lake and back via the train station through idyllic nature. The highlight is the "steep uphill run through the city park" with a finish line through the goal gate at Severin-Freund-Platz. Only winners are celebrated as they cross the finish line!
