Vyshyvanka Run NYC 2026
Join us for the Vyshyvanka Run NYC 2026, a friendly 5K run for adults and a short-distance fun run for kids. The race takes place on August 22, 2026, celebrating Ukrainian Independence Day. All participants are welcome to join and wear their Vyshyvankas (Ukrainian traditional shirt).
Objectives:
- Raise money (100% goes directly to help Ukraine)
- Promote Ukrainian culture in NYC
- Enjoy the company of fellow runners
Proceeds from this race will finance a drone for the artillery brigade. This drone will help protect troops closer to the front line by allowing reconnaissance drones to cover greater distances for information gathering, as well as improving the ability to inflict damage on the enemy. The cost of the drone is 105,000 UAH plus 15,000 UAH for the controller. Remaining proceeds will be allocated to support the child rehabilitation center "Nadia" in Lubny.
