We are the Colorado Brewery Running Series™ and we run for beer! Join us for The Veterans Day 5k on November 10, 2024, for a 5k-ish, fun run event that starts and ends at this awesome taproom in Colorado Springs. Run, walk, jog - whatever goes! Complete the course and celebrate with us and a FREE, local craft brew at the finish line.
Event Details
Start windows will be available at 10:00 AM & 10:30 AM. Each runner/walker will need to start during their 30-minute start wave window. Please do not arrive at check-in more than 30 minutes before your selected start time begins.
Cross the finish line and celebrate! All participants receive: A FREE craft brew from Goat Patch Brewing Company, Your choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, Your chance to win sweet door prizes from the Colorado Brewery Running Series, our event sponsors, and the host brewery, Access to event festivities: live music, food trucks, local vendors, fun with our partners and sponsors, goodies, and giveaways, And more!
Mission
Our mission is to be active, have fun and give back to our local community. Since our inaugural Colorado event in 2016, we have been able to donate over $140,000 back to local Colorado non-profits. This event will add to that tally! 10% of all proceeds go directly to a local organization that will be on site promoting their organization.
Important Details
This is an untimed, fun run. All levels of walkers, runners, and joggers are welcome. This is an open course, meaning roads will NOT be closed. You are responsible for obeying all traffic laws and regulations. Dogs and strollers are welcome on the course, with care and caution.
Registered, underage participants will receive a token for a FREE non-alcoholic beverage. Our events are rain or shine! If conditions become unsafe to run, we will still hang out and drink beer. Please drink responsibly. We always encourage carpooling and safe, designated drivers.
Colorado Brewery Running Series merchandise will be available at the event. Public parking is available. Please drink responsibly. Keep an eye out for final event details via email the week of the event.
