Velpe Mene Trail 2026
The Velpe Mene Trail will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026. This trail event winds through the beautiful nature reserves in Tienen and Glabbeek, offering three distinct races: 10 km, 19 km, and 29 km.
About the Race
A trail is a nature run, with at least 80% off-road terrain. The event features three separate races, each with a unique, partially overlapping route.
Participants
A maximum of 525 participants are allowed: 175 for the 10 km and 325 for the 19 km and 29 km combined. Participation in the 19 km and 29 km is restricted to individuals over 16 years old. The 10 km distance is open to all ages.
Participation Fees
- 10 km (no aid station): 13 euros
- 19 km (1 aid station): 18 euros
- 29 km (1 aid station): 21 euros
- On-site registration (if available): additional 2 euros
- New members of Natuurpunt receive a 3 euro discount on any distance.
Proceeds
All registration fees go directly towards the expansion and development of nature reserves.
Results
Overall and separate male/female results will be compiled. There are no cash prizes.

Pre-registration is open until Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 8 PM. Your registration is final upon payment confirmation. If spots are still available, on-site registration will be possible on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 8 AM to 9 AM at an increased rate.
