Valachy Man Triathlon
The traditional Valachy Man triathlon will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, with its center at the Balaton beach in Nový Hrozenkov. The event includes swimming, cycling, and running disciplines.
Race Categories and Tracks
- Dětské triatlonové závody (Children's Triathlon): For children aged 8 and up, with various distances available.
- Krátký Valachy Man (Short Valachy Man): A triathlon suitable for beginner triathletes.
- Dlouhý Valachy Man (Long Valachy Man): A challenging triathlon for experienced participants.
- Štafetový Valachy Man (Relay Valachy Man): Teams of three can divide the triathlon disciplines.
Course Details
Swimming takes place in the "Balaton" water area in Nový Hrozenkov. The cycling course leads around the water body and through hills above Nový Hrozenkov and Karolinka. The running course follows the Bečva cycle path and trails in nearby hills.
Adult Race Distances:
- Valachy man DLOUHÝ: Swim - 350m, Mountain Bike - 16km, Run - 4km
- Valachy man KRÁTKÝ: Swim - 200m, Mountain/Trekking Bike - 12km, Run - 3km
- Valachy man ŠTAFETA (3 members): Swim - 350m, Mountain Bike - 16km, Run - 4km
Children's Valachy Man Triathlon
A triathlon race for children's categories, divided into girls and boys. Categories are based on birth year.
Children's Race Distances:
- Category A (up to 4 years): Run - 100m
- Category B (up to 6 years): Run - 200m
- Category C (up to 8 years): Swim - 60m, Bike - 1.5km, Run - 0.6km
- Category D (up to 10 years): Swim - 60m, Bike - 1.5km, Run - 0.6km
- Category E (up to 12 years): Swim - 100m, Bike - 4km, Run - 1.5km
- Category F (up to 15 years): Swim - 100m, Bike - 4km, Run - 1.5km
Note: Distances may change based on race-day conditions.
Pricing and Registration
Adult Start Fees:
- Online registration & payment: 900 CZK (until 31.3.2026), 1000 CZK (until 31.5.2026), 1100 CZK (until 24.6.2026)
- On-site registration & payment: 1300 CZK (27.6.2026)
Relay Start Fees:
- Online registration & payment: 1800 CZK (until 31.3.2026), 2100 CZK (until 31.5.2026), 2400 CZK (until 24.6.2026)
- On-site registration & payment: 2700 CZK (27.6.2026)
Children's Start Fees:
- 400 CZK (until 31.5.2026), 500 CZK (until 24.6.2026 and on-site 27.6.2026)
- Children up to 6 years: 100 CZK (online payment), 200 CZK (on-site)

Start Fee Includes:
- Race organization (registration, showers, toilets)
- Organizational and medical support
- Chip timing
- Email and electronic diploma with results
- Starting package with partner gifts (subject to availability)
- 3 refreshment stations on the course and at the finish
- Hot meal and drink after the race
Cancellation Policy:
- 70% refund if cancelled up to 90 days before the start.
- 30% refund if cancelled up to 30 days before the start. No refunds thereafter.
