Vacation Isle Orienteering Event
Vacation Isle, located at 1406 Vacation Rd, San Diego, CA, 92109, offers a unique orienteering experience on a beautiful island in Mission Bay. With its scenic lawns, trees, and bay breezes, it's an ideal venue for a perfect Saturday morning event.
Courses Offered:
- Traditional - Beginner: Welcoming and manageable challenge.
- Traditional - Intermediate: For those with some orienteering experience.
- Traditional - Advanced: Rewards sharp navigation skills.
Event Details:
Date: July 18, 2026
Starts: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Time Limit: Two hours. All competitors must return to HQ and download by 1:00 PM.
Scoring: Electronic punching (AIR+ enabled) will be used. E-Punches can be rented for $5.
Clinics: An introductory clinic will be offered at 9:45 AM for beginners.
Registration & Fees:
Registration: All participants must pre-register. Closes at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 17th, or when the limit of 75 participants is reached.
Fees: $20 for adults, $10 for juniors (under 21). A $5 early bird discount is available through midnight, Saturday, June 27th.
Volunteer Information:
Volunteers are needed and can receive up to a $20 credit toward a race registration fee. Visit the Volunteer page for details.
