Ultratrail GSR - The Great Sibillini Ring
The Ultratrail GSR, also known as the Grande Anello dei Sibillini, is an inaugural trail running event by FESSURA, set in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains. The race starts from the picturesque village of Amandola, Marche.

Race Program:
- Saturday, September 26, 2026: An exclusive preview of the 124km GSR Great Sibillini Ring by selected Fessura Trail Team athletes. The day will also feature talks on mountains, food stands, and music.
- Sunday, September 27, 2026: Official competitions begin at 9:00 AM with the following races:
Races & Distances:
- ULTRATRAIL GSR 124km: A spectacular 124km loop around the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains. This edition is an "edition zero" for mapping and future official opening.
- VTR 35km: A challenging and technical 35km course with 1900m of elevation gain, designed for experienced trail runners.
- SBL 21km: An intense 21km trail half marathon with approximately 950m of positive elevation gain.
- PLT 12km: A faster 12km race, combining 7km of asphalt and 5km of gravel, suitable for those new to trail running.
- CAMMINATA 4km: A non-competitive walk for participants to enjoy the nature and landscapes at their own pace.
About Amandola:
Amandola is a charming medieval village in the province of Fermo, Marche, situated at 550 meters above sea level on the eastern slope of the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains.
