Turnhouse Hill Race
The Turnhouse Hill Race is a traditional event held in the Pentland Hills, organized by Penicuik Harriers. Registration and number collection will be at the Flotterstone car park near the Pentland café. The race start is a short walk through woodland from the car park.

Courses
- Senior Race: 5.2 km with 310 metres ascent. Features a steep ascent and descent, with the final climb through heather. Hill running shoes are advised.
- Junior Race: Approximately 2.2 km with 160 metres ascent. An out and back route.
Registration and Fees
- Senior Entry Cost: £7 online, £8 on the day.
- Junior Race: Free entry.
- The race registration cost includes a donation to the Pentland Hills Regional Park.
Facilities and Travel
- Limited public toilets are available behind the Pentland café.
- No changing or showering facilities.
- Parking at Flotterstone car park is limited; car sharing, public transport, or cycling are encouraged. Marshals will assist with parking.
