Turkey Shuffle - San Antonio

Join us for the Turkey Shuffle, a running event set amidst the beautiful Texas parks and greenbelts. Experience the vibrant autumn colors while enjoying a well-organized and festive running experience. The event offers a variety of distances to suit all levels, including a Kids Dash, 1 Mile Run, 5K Run, and 10K Run. A virtual run option is also available.
Events Include:
- Kids Dash (approx. 50 meters, for ages 10 and under)
- 1 Mile Run
- 5K Run (3.11 miles)
- 10K Run (6.22 miles)
- Volunteer then Run 5K
- Virtual Run
The event features DJ Sasquatch for music, age group awards, and a festive costume contest with Thanksgiving-themed outfits. Prizes include a trophy, future race certificates, HEB gift cards, and Bigfoot Running Company swag.
Volunteer Opportunities: Various roles are available, including Course Monitor, Aid Station, Finish Line Helper, Turtle/Sweeper, Packet Pickup/Results, Floater, Lead Bike, and Bigfoot Mascot. Volunteers may receive race shirts, medals, future race entries, or gift cards.
Race Details:
- Chip timing for 5K and 10K.
- All finishers receive a medal and shirt (shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days prior).
- Youth-based pricing for 5K & 10K (12 & Under are $15).
- Referral discounts and group discounts are available.
- Courses may include pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
Event Schedule:
- 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM: Packet Pickup
- 8:55 AM: Kids Dash
- 9:00 AM: Race Start
